About Me & Teluxe Wellness
Welcome to Teluxe Wellness—I’m truly glad you’re here.

My career has been devoted to caring for individuals across the lifespan, and I am passionate about making mental health care warm, accessible, and genuinely supportive.
Professional Background
I received my Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Barry University, where I built a strong foundation in holistic, whole-person care. I later completed my advanced psychiatric training at Wilkes University, earning my PMHNP certification. This dual background allows me to understand the powerful connections between physical and mental health and to provide thoughtful, well-rounded treatment.
My Approach to Care
At Teluxe Wellness, I bring a warm, caring, and supportive presence to every client interaction. My therapeutic style is grounded in building genuine rapport, fostering trust, and creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I take time to get to know each client so that opening up feels natural and free of judgment. My goal is for you to feel comfortable expressing your concerns and confident that we will work together toward your well-being.
I am a board certified psychiatrist and an esteemed Diplomate of the ABPN. I am fully trained in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Hi, I’m Dr. Nikunj Talati. I’m a board-certified psychiatrist who is passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them find balance, growth, and healing. I completed my medical training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and my psychiatry residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. During that time, I had the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds and learning the importance of tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.
Following my training, I was honored to be nominated for the Outstanding Resident Award. I am now embarking on the next chapter of my career in Tampa, Florida, and am eager to begin seeing patients and contributing to the mental health and wellness of the community.
I bring eight years of prior experience as an adult and pediatric emergency room nurse. My background in acute care has given me a strong foundation in crisis intervention, compassionate listening, and evidence-based clinical judgment.
I was born in Los Angeles, spent 15 years living in Hawaii, and now reside in Miami, Florida. My diverse life experiences — including traveling to 23 countries — have shaped my cultural awareness and deep respect for the unique perspectives of every individual I serve.
