With 47 years of experience and a deep commitment to my clients' well-being, I'm dedicated to providing a supportive and effective therapeutic experience. I graduated from Chapman University with departmental honors in both Sociology and Social Work, and I hold a graduate degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. My core strengths as a therapist are sincere empathy and deep listening, which I believe are the most powerful tools for fostering growth and healing. I am dedicated to continuous learning and am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to tailor my methods to each client's unique needs.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly six years of clinical experience working with individuals across a wide age range—from children as young as six to adults in their late sixties. I have supported clients navigating a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, postpartum concerns, OCD, trauma, and more complex mood and personality-related disorders.
Sometimes a thoughtful conversation with the right person can make all the difference. As an experienced therapist, husband, and father, I bring both professional training and real-life wisdom to help people navigate life’s challenges. Over many years of both life and clinical work, I’ve had the privilege of helping people move through difficult seasons, gain clarity, and reconnect with their strengths. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’re returning after time away, it’s normal to feel uncertain. Our first conversation is simply a starting point. I often work with people facing life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, seeking clarity and a practical path forward. Together, we’ll slow things down, understand what’s happening, and identify steps that help move you forward. If you are going through a difficult season, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but it's also a courageous step toward healing and wholeness.
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 11 years of therapy experience. I focus on supporting women over 25 yrs old who are navigating anxiety, relationship issues, and people-pleasing. It's an honor to walk alongside women in this process and to witness the growth, healing, and confidence that emerge as they rediscover themselves and create meaningful change.
I work with individuals who grew up with a pervasive sense that they were “outside the box.” Sometimes that comes from being neurodivergent, navigating gender or sexuality, growing up in strict or religious environments, being home-schooled or always feeling different from the people around you. Many of my clients arrive with ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, identity questions, or long-held patterns of masking to get through work, school, or life. It’s common for them to feel numb, lonely, misunderstood, or unsure about who they are and where they belong. If that resonates — you’re in the right place.
I support neurodivergent adults, ADHD/Autism, LGBTQIA+ and questioning folks, individuals exploring gender identity or transition, people processing religious trauma, chronic health struggles, grief, loss, and PTSD. I also love helping creatives, deep thinkers, and people who feel like they’ve spent years trying to “fit” rather than exist authentically.
Weather you have been considering therapy, worked with therapy in the past or loved ones are suggesting reaching out-welcome to my practice. I work with individuals, couples and families in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career issues, job dissatisfaction. My specialty areas included the assessment and treatment of Perinatal and Postpartum Depression/Anxiety and Grief and Loss.
Hey hey hey, I’m Ariel Wilson Gbenedio, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, transformational speaker, and author dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and step into their power.
I have nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, working across a wide range of settings including crisis residential treatment, outpatient care, and program development. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care—blended with a deeply human, compassionate approach.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have served in both clinical and leadership roles, including Clinical Director. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and safe enough to do the real work of healing.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and honest. I believe healing isn’t about “fixing” you—because you are not broken. It’s about understanding your story, shifting limiting beliefs, and helping you build a life that feels aligned, fulfilling, and authentic. I specialize in working with high-achieving women, individuals struggling with self-worth, trauma recovery, and those feeling stuck in cycles that no longer serve them.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for something more in your life, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help you develop the insight, tools, and confidence to create lasting change—and to remind you of the strength that already exists within you.
