My name is Tee-Jay Netters a Licensed Marriage and Family Psychotherapist. I specialize in couples and men of color identifying with various sexual orientations in relationship communication, PTSD, and increasing emotional awareness. My style is very active, direct, and strength-based allowing couples and individuals to feel supported and comfortable in a private safe environment.
At the heart of my work is connection. I offer a warm, grounded, and compassionate space for teens ages 12 and up, adults, seniors, and couples who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or impacted by trauma, grief, relationship stress, or major life transitions.
Many of the people I work with are carrying a lot internally while trying to keep going on the outside. In therapy, you do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. My style is attuned, honest, and supportive, with space for both insight and practical tools.
My background includes trauma-informed work in high-acuity clinical settings, as well as years of supporting people through growth, transition, and change. My goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more regulated in their nervous systems, and more able to move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
We need your light. ✨ It is time.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. I am passionate about helping clients move through the effects of trauma and addiction with compassion, curiosity, and hope. I strive to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and free of judgment, where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we can work toward understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and creating lasting change.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe placing mental health first is fundamental to achieving happiness and balance in life. Reaching out for support can be incredibly difficult, you deserve recognition for the real strength required to ask for help. I’ve been practicing since 2022, focusing on adults navigating life’s mental health struggles, with a concentration on grief, anxiety, self esteem, and relational issues.
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2023 and a psychiatric nurse since 2018, I specialize in Complex trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues and co-occurring conditions. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and trauma-informed, focusing on the areas that you would like to work on. All medication or therapy is tailored to your needs and avoiding the "try and see" method of treatment.
I am an Indigenous, Latina, and Somatic-based therapist from the Sonoran Desert. I am bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Working to remove the barriers that trauma creates is my expertise. I hold my B.F.A in Dance, a Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology/Dance Movement Therapy, and I am EMDR and DARe certified. In my professional career I have worked as an educator and therapist, with over 25 years of experience, serving diverse ethnic and LGBTQ communities. I currently see clients in person in Tucson, Arizona, and I have flexibility in scheduling after the initial consult. I am licensed in Arizona and Colorado. I can see clients via virtual visits in both states.
