I’m Jerleen, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado with a Master’s in Psychology from Alliant International University. I work with teens who feel weighed down by school, friendships, or self-doubt, and I’m here to help you cut through the noise and find your footing. I use CBT and DBT to give you tools that work in real life—not just in session—so you can manage stress, build confidence, and feel more in control. My office (or screen) is a safe space to be real, get a little messy, and laugh along the way.
I specialize in eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and women's issues. I have held previous roles as a residential eating disorder facility and was the Director of Wellness for the College of Veterinary Medicine and outreach and prevention coordinator for the counseling center at Utah State University. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for my Master’s in Social Work and Public Health.
I've been practicing since 2020 in a variety of therapy settings. I have a master's of science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am licensed in CO. My main specialty area is trauma.
I believe it takes immense courage to open yourself up to the process of therapy - to go against the taboo and actually talk about yourself, your pain, and your shame. I will be your supportive guide through this process, helping you use what you learn to change the patterns that hold you back and close the gap between who you are and who you want to be.
About me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University.
