

Hi! My name is Karolina and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Illinois. I received my Masters in Community Counseling Degree from Argosy University and have been in practice for the past 17 years. I have worked in diverse settings and with individuals of diverse backgrounds and across age groups.
I help individuals struggling with life's challenges, mood disorders, struggles in interpersonal relationships and survivors of traumatic events.
Currently, I am only accepting new clients who are trans.
I am a trans and queer LCSW and artist with 15 years of experience in community mental health. I completed my MSW and MA in Gender Studies at Loyola University Chicago. Before grad school, I worked in reproductive justice, body autonomy, and community care. Life experiences have led me to provide therapy with a focus on community care through an anti oppressive lens.
I am so grateful that you are here! My core belief is that you are the expert in your journey. My practice focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced depression, trauma, anxiety and significant life losses or changes. My primary area of expertise includes trauma-informed care and supporting individuals who have been exposed to trauma or repeated traumatic events. I support families who are experiencing significant life changes including wonderful events and some of life's most challenging and pivotal moments. I am very passionate about supporting individuals who live with neurodiversity and their loved ones.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for IL. I hold a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master in Organizational Psychology. I am a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC). I have a significant history working with Adolescents and Families, and Substance Abuse treatment. I provide psychotherapy for individuals, families and groups dealing with many mental health concerns including but, not limited to: depression, anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, parenting and behavioral issues, women issues and I can provide Christian counseling as well. I would appreciate the opportunity walk beside you and assist you on your journey to healing.
