Hi, I’m Valerie, and I specialize in complex/developmental trauma and grief. I work primarily with women navigating childhood trauma, complicated family dynamics, narcissistic abuse, and what it means to move through life without the support they should have had. I also work with young adults who have experienced the loss of one or both parents.
Many of my clients are used to being the "strong one" -- the one who holds everything together, even while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted underneath. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to do that anymore.
I use EMDR and Induced After Death Communication therapies to help process experiences that feel stuck, not just intellectually, but emotionally and physically. This work goes beyond talking about what happened; we focus on helping your system actually shift so those experiences no longer carry the same weight.
I have a particular passion for working with grief, including the kind that isn’t always recognized—like estrangement, losing a parent (emotionally or physically), or becoming an adult without the support you needed. I don’t believe grief is something you “get over,” but something you learn to carry differently.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Fordham University and my Bachelor of Social Work from Adelphi University, graduating summa cum laude from both. I began my work in a community mental health clinic and later worked in several private practices before opening my own.
Hi, I’m Cindy and I want you to know this: you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying it all, therapy can be a space to exhale, reflect, and gently begin again.
I come to this work not only as a clinician but as a human being shaped by my own lived experience. I’m a proud Trinidadian-American who migrated to the U.S. at a young age, and I know what it’s like to navigate different worlds, expectations, and identities. That background helps me show up with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for the unique path each client walks.
I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University, and my clinical experience has focused on supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, burnout, and issues related to identity and belonging. I have a special heart for clients who are used to being the strong ones, the caregivers, the first-gen trailblazers, the ones who hold space for everyone else.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. I use a relational and strengths-based approach, integrating tools from CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, but more importantly, I meet you where you are, honoring your pace and your story.
This is your space to feel seen, to feel safe, and to explore what healing could look like for you. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I’m Jen DiGianni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults through individual, family, and couples therapy. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and women’s mental health concerns, including postpartum anxiety and depression.
I believe that the strength and confidence you’re looking for already exist within you. My role is to help you uncover those strengths and build the tools needed to manage life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
I am a clinical social worker with years of experience. I value getting to know both the strengths and challenges my clients are facing. We will work collaboratively to address the issues we identify and create goals to achieve.
