Your Safe Place, Hello my name is Daleshia Hulett I am a Licensed Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Certified School Counselor with more than ten years of experience as a Mental Health Professional. Over the years I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, struggles in relationships, family problems, career challenges, ADHD, Autism, trauma & worked with clients that have experienced emotional/physical abuse, substance abuse, and neglect.
I understand that every single person has been molded and formed by their environments around them. Sometimes, that leads us to being a person that we no longer want to be, which is when therapy can be helpful. In order for effective change to take place, therapy must be a safe and welcoming place in order for you to feel comfortable learning and discovering which route to take in your self-discovery journey.
Clients who want an easy-going, direct, and casual yet professional approach to therapy will enjoy working with me.
I am experienced in working with adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety, depression, suicidality, trauma survival, relationship struggles, domestic violence survival, non-suicidal self-injury, and more.
Do you find yourself saying “yes” to everything so others don’t have to struggle? Maybe people see you as someone who can juggle it all and make it look effortless—but inside, you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and tired of holding it all together. The truth is, you don’t have to do it all on your own. Together, we can find your strengths and create more balance in your life.
As a therapist, I’m passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, major life transitions, relationship stress, and those seeking personal growth. I also have the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals navigating the complexities of immigration. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my graduate degree in Professional Counseling in 2009. I have worked in several capacities of counseling and coaching. I have worked as a Career Coach. I have conducted presentations on personality assessment interpretations and occupational soft skills. I work with clients experiencing depression as a result of loss, conflict resolution - supporting individuals with communication challenges, and guidance on managing relationships in a healthy way. Together our work is to bridge the gap between hope and despair.
