I bring warmth, authenticity, and a calm, steady presence to the therapeutic relationship. While my focus is on children and teens, I also support adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, and major life changes.
I’m intentional about creating a space where clients of all ages feel understood and supported. While working with children and teens, I work to build trust through patience, playfulness, and developmentally appropriate communication. For adults, I offer a grounded, collaborative environment where they can explore challenges openly and at their own pace. Parents often share that they appreciate my ability to connect with their child while also offering clear communication, guidance, and compassion throughout the process.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and holder of a B.S. in Health & Fitness Specialist, I offer a whole-person, integrated approach to healing. I'm also a combat veteran who knows firsthand the pain, isolation, and uncertainty that come with trauma, disability, and major life transitions. I’ve felt stuck, lost purpose, and fought to rebuild. Through the same services I now offer—counseling, rehabilitation, fitness, and career support—I reclaimed my life. Now, it’s my mission to help others do the same.

Hello there! I am so very proud of you for taking a step towards gaining new coping skills, improving self-awareness and having improved mental health. Most therapist would like to have a motivated client who picks up on therapeutic concepts easily, but that's not how this thing works! I meet you where you currently are and I am prepared to walk beside you on this therapeutic journey.
My own experiences with grief and loss eventually led me to do this work. I have a background working in inpatient palliative care where I learned to support patients with serious illness. My experience has helped me understand navigating the medical system and supporting individuals who are experiencing illness and loss. As a Latina of Mexican-American descent, I also see clients who prefer to do sessions in Spanish.
