In our process, as you work towards sharing whatever is on your mind, we listen, think, and feel together, paying attention to patterns that may echo your past and our broader sociopolitical context. We explore what may be difficult to think or feel through on your own—a process that can lead to deepened self-understanding, more curiosity, and new ways of relating with your internal and external worlds. This work can help you feel more spontaneous, more connected to yourself, to others, to your desires and fears, and can lead to new possibilities for intentional choices.
My name is Rosaline Hong and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) practicing in NJ. I welcome and enjoy working with a broad range of clients, from varying backgrounds and ages, and have a particular passion for working with young adults, as well as working therapeutically with parents to help treat the needs of their child/ren. I have been working in the field for 10 years and typically work with clients that are contending with life transitions, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, relationship conflicts, parenting issues, and substance use disorders. Some are experiencing these issues for the first time, while others have been managing symptoms for a long time.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and have spent 20+ years in social services supporting people with autism, IDD, trauma, and mood challenges. My work is grounded, affirming, and shaped by real-world experience with diverse, often underserved communities.

Above all, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I have 25 years of experience working in-patient and out-patient treatment. I have worked with individuals with general mood disorders and addiction. I also use group therapy to connect others with similar issues to enable connections that the clients may not otherwise have. I believe that my clients prefer the warm, comfortable style that I use.

Hi there!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I support high functioning individuals who feel overwhelmed, irritable, burned out, and stuck beneath the surface.
You are holding it together--but it's getting harder. Let's change that. I hold space for you to be yourself, to feel heard, and validated. I focus on your strengths. If desired, I teach skills to help you in managing your symptoms and concerns, and more. I am passionate and see this work as a calling, and this passion shows up in the counseling space and during your mental health journey.
You look like you're doing okay on the outside--but underneath, you're overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, and carrying more than most people realize.
Maybe you're constantly overthinking, feeling on edge, or burned out from trying to keep everything together. You might feel stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, no matter how hard you try.
You don't have to keep pushing through it alone.
