You deserve to feel human, not just functional. You can be competent, capable, and still need help. Those things aren't in conflict.
I work with professionals, exhausted parents, athletes, and LGBTQ+ individuals, who look "fine" but feel lonely, resentful, or stuck in survival mode. You want life to work without running on stress and guilt. Together we'll identify what's draining you and build practical boundaries, routines, and skills that calm your nervous system, protect your energy, and make daily life feel manageable and yours again.
You can verify your insurance in minutes and view my real-time availability directly through Headway — making it simple to get started.
I believe that healing is not a one size fits all process. Every person arrives with a unique story, a distinct set of strengths, and their own way of making meaning in the world. I honor that individuality as I provide a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at a pace that feels authentic to them. I believe in helping people and not fixing them because people aren't broken.
I am an experienced mental health counselor committed to helping people bring more meaning, laughter, curiosity, creativity and self-compassion into their lives. Through identifying obstacles to reaching these states and collaborating to find solutions, we can work together to break damaging cycles and face the future with confidence. If you feel exhausted and resentful from having to do it all on your own, please take a chance and reach out.
I provide a warm, empathetic perspective while listening to your story. I have 15 years experience working with adults and children struggling with mental health challenges and many other stressors.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist in the State of Texas. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University. My training and experience have been focused on providing trauma informed care. I have worked primarily with active duty and veteran members of the military, first responders, and survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence. I have experience working with combat trauma, moral injury, sexual trauma, and religious trauma.
I am also an LGBTQ+ affirming sex therapist currently pursuing my PhD in Clinical Sexology. I am trained to work with individuals, couples, and polycules to help navigate sex and sexuality. Some areas of focus are kink, ethical non-monogamy, variance in desire, and reclaiming sex after trauma.
Clients should know that I am a therapist who both supports and gently challenges them, because I believe growth happens when we are willing to look at our thoughts, patterns, and behaviors honestly. I strive to create a safe, warm space while also helping clients push past comfort zones in a healthy and empowering way. I bring joyful, positive energy into sessions and hope clients feel encouraged, understood, and capable of change
